Our Parks Coordinator Mary O’Connell, who looks after Red Cross Garden, said, “We are absolutely delighted to receive a Green Flag Award again for Red Cross Garden. This award celebrates the dedication that goes into maintaining our parks to such a high standard.”

While, Joe Mayhook (BOST Parks Operations Officer- responsible for Waterloo Millennium Green) added, “We’re so pleased Waterloo Millennium Green has been recognised again by this prestigious award. We’re looking forward to flying our flag with pride!”

Green Flag judges particularly noted the hard work done by volunteers at Waterloo Millennium Green commenting, “The work undertaken by the volunteers, facilitated by BOST, enables this lovely park to be enjoyed and is a real testament to the volunteers’ hard work.”
