Bankside Open Spaces Trust (BOST) is once again hosting a day-long ‘free’ street party spanning Union Street to Flat Iron Square.

Part of nationwide ‘The Great Get Together’ initiative, inspired by the late MP Jo Cox, BOST invites all who live, work in and visit the area to get together and celebrate all that we hold in common.

Building on last year's success, this year's talent line-up is set to attract more than 5,000 visitors to enjoy one of London’s most vibrant, diverse and accessible street festivals.

Highlights include the sought -after Feast on the Street, Bark off Dog Show, Wacky Races and Headdress Parade, along with live music and theatre across five music stages programmed by SuperGlad Music, Corsica Studios DJs, Lost Rivers, Resonance 104.4FM , laugh-a-minute comedy from the Country Mile Comedy Club, dance workshops from Swing Patrol and the Castellers of London’s amazing human tower.

The Great Get Together will also put Bankside on the map of London Festival of Architecture's (LFA) global festival trail with a series of events reflecting its theme of ‘Identity’ - from Musicity’s extraordinary singing buildings to dedicated installation celebrating the centenary year of women’s suffrage and the inspirational societal work of local female figureheads.
