RHS Flourish fund gives boost to our Future Gardeners

We’re delighted to be one of the first recipients of the RHS Flourish Fund, aimed at improving the accessibility of horticultural careers by supporting organisations across the UK that are helping people acquire horticultural skills.

This fund will enable us to reach even more people through our successful Future Gardeners scheme. Future Gardeners is an innovative training and work experience scheme that gives participants the core skills to gain entry level jobs in the horticulture industry without having any previous experience or specialist education. At the end of our course our students are work-ready - 76% of Future Gardeners who completed the course are now working in the horticultural industry.

This fund will help us increase the number of students we can take on – welcoming people from all parts of society into the wonderful world of horticulture.
