Fourth Day of Christmas
On the Fourth day of Christmas we give to you four of our key projects managed and run by our dedicated team. In the words of local South London legend, Mr Caine, ‘and not a lot of people know that’ alongside award-winning open spaces, we also run:
A FREE horticultural course aimed at getting long term unemployed people and those who’ve struggled to access education or training, into jobs within the horticultural industry.
A network of local people who we help to create and maintain their very own community gardens in the communal areas of their shared housing.
Giving businesses the opportunity to get their teams out of the office and into our open spaces for gardening work days – a great way for colleagues to bond and build relationships while giving back to the community.
We were delighted to host a wedding in Red Cross Garden this year. We also hosted sports days galore in Marlborough Sports Garden while Waterloo Green welcomed charities and community groups for carnivals and challenge events. These events are a great way of celebrating our green spaces, if you have an idea for an event please talk to us about using one of our unique sites!
