Get Involved

All ages and abilities welcome

BOST is always hugely grateful for the many active citizens, volunteers, staff, helpers,  and other people who come together to change and look after our shared open spaces. If this is you – thank you!

Get involved with gardening…

Why not get your hands dirty and come along to one of our regular gardening groups! No experience is necessary and we are always flexible with time commitments to help our volunteers get the most out of volunteering.

Download our regular gardening activity programme here: Volunteering Gardening Opportunities – Parks 2016 and get in touch to find out more about volunteering with us Contact Nicola on 020 7403 3393 or email nicola@bost.org.uk. Please note that this is for individuals and not for group volunteering.

Arrange a group volunteering day…

Do you have a group of colleagues who want to get involved with a practical gardening day? BOST can arrange group volunteering sessions on our sites which gives you the chance to get out of the office and make a real difference to local green spaces. For more information contact Nicola on 020 7403 3393 or nicola@bost.org.uk

Help with decision making and stewardship…

We work with residents and local people to plan for future to ensure all of Bankside’s parks and open spaces are protected and maintained. We do this by facilitation steering groups and consultation meetings. In particular we liaise about the following sites: Mint Street Park, Marlborough Sports Garden, St George’s Garden, Red Cross Garden, Waterloo Green, Little Dorrit Park, Christ Church Garden and Crossbones Garden and food gardens on housing lands.

Contact us on info@bost.org.uk or 020 7403 3393 to discuss how to get involved.
